There're some HIPHI Car Manuals PDF above the page.
HiPhi is a Chinese manufacturer of premium electric cars. It currently produces the HiPhi Z and HiPhi X, two crossovers that would look
appropriate as the protagonist's car in the game Cyberpunk 2077. HiPhi has even started to expand beyond China, selling its high-end electric cars in some
European markets.
The company has also begun to compete with more affordable electric cars with the $48, 000 HiPhi Y.
The HiPhi Y will go on sale in China in mid-July 2023, and plans to sell the cheaper car in Europe later, alongside the more expensive models.
Human Horizons, commonly known as HiPhi Auto, is not doing too well. The company currently (2023) closed for at least six months, and there are rumors that it
will be bought out and production will resume.
As for HiPhi, it is struggling to find a way to become profitable, or to fill its coffers with money.
According to CarNewsChina, the brand is looking for a buyer, as well as a way to ease some of its financial burden.
Some have speculated that it could be a number of companies, from Huawei to Changan. There no official word from HiPhi on whether a deal is on
the table, but HiPhi CEO Ding Lei confirmed that he met with Changan representatives at the company’s headquarters in Chongqing.
It would certainly be a sad end for HiPhi. The HiPhi Z has over 600 horsepower and can hit 62 mph in under four seconds, so it certainly has enough power to
compete with the best electric car brands.
But great technology alone is not enough to be a winner in a very, very crowded market. Add to that high interest rates around the world and markets that are increasingly wary of Chinese exports,
as well as China’s own economic woes.
