He founded the company talented designer and engineer Henrik Fisker, whose career began in the design offices of famous automobile companies. His first project was the BMW Z07. For the first time this chic car was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1997, where he immediately won the hearts of visitors. The basis was taken the legendary BMW 507 - it was the first sports car of the postwar period. The car body was made of aluminum, the design consisted of a spatial frame with hinged panels and aluminum. Under the hood, the concept of hiding the 8-cylinder engine, perfectly combined with a six-speed sequential transmission.
Some time later, Fisker has developed another car - BMW Z8 roadster in the body, which later appeared in series production, and has been presented all over the automotive world in 2000. This convertible with rear-wheel drive equipped with a powerful 8-cylinder engine in 400 "horses", whose volume reached 4.9 liters. This engine allows the car to accelerate to the first hundred in 4.7 seconds and a top speed can reach 250 km / h. Auto mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or 3-step "automatic". Exclusive sports body and soft leather upholstery hardly left anyone indifferent. This model has repeatedly been subjected to revision, so its popularity continues to this day.
