History of Maybach Cars

The MAYBACH MY16 S600 Owner Manual PDF is above the page.

Maybach was founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach together with his son Karl. Most importantly, Maybach was responsible for the development and construction of various types of engines for a huge number of machines.

Gradually, this experience found its application in 1919, when he released his first car with the M logo at the Berlin Motor Show.

This was only the beginning of the road for the German machine manufacturer, who continued to improve machines until 1940.

They became a trademark of luxury, and it was not at all surprising to see very significant people driving these cars.

In parallel with the construction of very expensive cars, Maybach retained its heritage and continued to produce diesel engines for marine and railway vehicles. When the war came, Maybach also joined the arms race and built engines for the Tiger and Panther tanks.

Twenty years later, Maybach merged with Daimler AG, which bought the rights to the Maybach brand.

The company was awakened from hibernation only when in 1997, Mercedes decided to create a new Mercedes-Benz Maybach. The car was a huge success, and it was decided to release this car in a series with the logo Maybach.

Since May 2000, the Maybach brand has been updated with a luxury model that was twice the size of the Maybach 57 and Maybach 62. Then in 2005, the Maybach 57 appeared with a more powerful engine and some modifications in the body to give a sportier look.

What makes these cars different from any other product on the market is the ability to customize every detail of the car to the owner.

There are more than two million combinations of equipment selection for the machine, so you can not find another such on the street when you buy Maybach.
